Your files

Your Markdown files stay on your Mac. Lightmark reads and edits them locally and does not upload their contents anywhere.

App data

Lightmark stores basic preferences and recent-file information locally on your Mac. This information is not sent to us.

Website

The Lightmark website does not use advertising trackers or analytics.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser information when you visit the site.

External content

Links you open from Lightmark or its website may lead to other services with their own privacy policies.

If a Markdown file contains an image hosted online, loading that image may connect directly to the website hosting it.

Contact

If you contact us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond to you.

Changes

If Lightmark's privacy practices change, this page will be updated accordingly.
